Raccoon on a residential roof near an attic vent at dusk

Raccoon Removal Service in Lehi, Utah County

Raccoons are one of the most common attic and crawlspace intruders we handle across Utah County. They're drawn to warm, enclosed spaces during colder months and can tear through soffits, vents, and rooflines to get inside. Once in, a raccoon can cause significant insulation and structural damage in a matter of days — and females often den specifically to raise young, which makes DIY removal both difficult and risky.

Mouse & Rat Control Service in Lehi, Utah County

House mice are the most common fall intruder in Utah County, needing only a quarter-inch gap to get inside as they seek shelter from the cold. Norway rats and roof rats follow food and water sources into garages, basements, and commercial spaces. Because rodents reproduce quickly, a small problem can become a serious infestation in weeks — and they rarely leave on their own.

Squirrel on a residential roof near an attic vent

Squirrel Removal Service in Lehi, Utah County

Squirrels commonly chew their way into attics through soffits, roof vents, and gaps around the roofline — and once established they gnaw on wood, wiring, and stored items. In Utah County they're most active in fall and late winter as they seek warm nesting spots, and a mother squirrel will aggressively defend a nest site, making removal a job for proper equipment rather than a ladder and a trap.

American badger near its burrow in a rural field

Badger Removal Service in Lehi, Utah County

Badgers are powerful diggers that can excavate extensive burrows under fences, outbuildings, and landscape features in a single night. In the agricultural transition areas of Utah County they're an occasional but serious nuisance — their digging can undermine structures and create hazards for livestock, pets, and equipment. They're also protected in ways that require proper handling rather than DIY trapping.

Bats flying out from under a residential roof eave at dusk

Bat Removal Service in Lehi, Utah County

Bats in Utah County are beneficial for insect control but a serious problem when they colonize an attic or wall void — their guano accumulates quickly, creates strong odor, and can harbor histoplasmosis. Because most bat species are protected, removal can't be done by trapping or sealing during maternity season; it requires a timed exclusion approach that lets bats leave but prevents re-entry.

Small birds nesting near a residential roof vent

Bird Control & Removal in Utah County & Lehi, UT

Birds nesting in vents, soffits, and attics are one of the most common wildlife calls we get in Utah County — starlings and house sparrows in particular exploit unprotected exterior vents to build nests that block airflow and create fire hazards in dryer and bathroom vents. Nesting material, droppings, and mites accumulate quickly, and many birds are protected once actively nesting, so timing matters.

Skunk Removal Service in Lehi, Utah County

Skunks are drawn to sheltered spots under decks, sheds, and porches — and in Utah County they're a common call in spring and fall. Beyond the obvious odor risk, skunks can carry rabies and will dig up lawns in search of grubs. Removal requires trapping that minimizes the chance of a spray, plus exclusion to keep them from moving back in under the same structure.

Red fox near a residential backyard fence at dusk

Fox Removal Service in Lehi, Utah County

Red foxes are present throughout Utah County's mix of developed and open land, and they'll den under outbuildings or in dense brush near homes. While they help control rodents, a fox establishing a den near a yard with small pets or poultry is a real concern, and denning foxes can become defensive. Removal is a regulated activity that requires proper handling.

Rattlesnake coiled on rocks in a residential yard in Utah

Snake Removal Service in Lehi, Utah County

Utah County is home to both harmless species like gopher snakes and venomous species like the Great Basin rattlesnake. Snakes enter yards and occasionally homes following prey — mice, voles, and insects — and while most are beneficial, a rattlesnake near a home with kids or pets is a safety issue that warrants professional removal rather than a DIY approach.

Pocket gopher emerging from a fresh dirt mound in a residential lawn

Gopher Control Service in Lehi, Utah County

Pocket gophers are a persistent lawn and landscape problem across Utah County, especially in newer developments bordering former agricultural land. They create extensive tunnel systems and mounds that damage turf, kill plants by feeding on roots, and can even undermine irrigation lines and hardscaping. Because they spend almost their entire life underground, trapping is the most effective control method.

Mole dirt mound and surface tunnels across a residential lawn

Mole Removal Service in Lehi, Utah County

Moles are insectivores that tunnel just below the surface of lawns in search of grubs and earthworms, leaving raised ridges and volcano-shaped mounds across otherwise healthy turf. In Utah County they're most active in spring and fall when soil moisture is ideal for tunneling. Their damage is cosmetic and structural to lawns rather than a sign of poor hygiene, but it can ruin a yard quickly if left unchecked.

Vole surface runway trails through grass and mulch near young trees

Vole Control Service in Lehi, Utah County

Voles are small rodents that create surface runways through grass and mulch, and they girdle the bark of young trees and shrubs — a serious threat to landscaping in Utah County's newer developments, which see notably more vole activity than established neighborhoods. Unlike moles, voles are rodents that feed on plants, and their populations can spike quickly under the right conditions.
